Consultation on Proposed Charges for Adult Social Care Financial Services
Overview
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is proposing to make changes to our current charging policy and introduce charges for some Adult Social Care financial management services.
These services support people who may be unable to manage their finances independently or who need help to pay for care. Demand for these services is increasing, and they require significant resources to deliver.
Most other councils already charge for these services.
Introducing charges will help ensure services remain sustainable and continue to be available to those who need them.
We want to hear your views before any final decision is made.
